X-CELL has developed an online ticket and hospitality management system to support Dow Chemical and the event agency in charge in managing the ticket allocation for the FIFA World Cup 2006.

A multistage booking process including waiting list, automatic confirmation and reminder e-mail dispatch and a comprehensive reporting system allow the efficient and secure management of all relevant resources. The implemented user and role management provides personalized access for different user groups (Dow employees and management, event agency, etc).

Our client Dow Chemical asked X-CELL COMMUNICATIONS to implement an innovative, fully web-based event management system for the most important fair concerning the field of plastics, the K2004 in Düsseldorf.

Core modules of the systems are:

  • the web-based and decentralized administration of all necessary resources,
  • the management of all communication processes before, during and after the fair,
  • integration and optimization of existing internal customer databases by implementing proper interfaces,
  • the efficient planning of corporate events and evening shows,
  • the extensive use of the system for efficient on-site communication,
  • an exhaustive reporting system concerning all bookings processed by the application.

Through effective management of resources and optimized communication based on the most actual data in the system as well as on-demand requesting of the latest project information our client was able to considerably reduce cost and time.

In 2004 X-CELL COMMUNICATIONS developed an innovative multimedia-based e-Kiosk system for our client’s exhibition booth which besides virtual product presentations contained a real-time-inquiry-management helping to quickly and automatically collect and process visitor inquiries. Simultaneously extensive statistics provided information about the customers’ or visitors’ interest in specific products manufactured by our client Dow Chemical.

A content management system with has been purposely developed to meet our client’s needs helped a lot to efficiently and quickly maintain the content of the system prior to and during the fair.

X-CELL COMMUNICATIONS further implemented a web portal for a well-known international corporate group that should be utilised within the scope of an exhibition. Being used as customer relationship management tool this portal enabled our client to tightly communicate with its customers prior to the fair.

Apart from information about the fair and its location the portal was used as virtual exhibition invitation. Moreover a personalized booking system allowed employees and customers to conduct numerous bookings (for instance event tickets, conference and hotel rooms, meetings etc.).

Web-based follow up arrangements additionally contributed to the fair’s great success.

X-CELL COMMUNICATIONS developed an exhaustive product presentation system which served as information pool for our client’s customers on two booths during a major important exhibition.

Beside the preparation and integration of numerous multimedia-based company and product information into a self-developed web-based e-Kiosk system it was easily possible to quickly and reliably track and process customer inquiries.

X-CELL COMMUNICATION successfully developed an event management system for Dow Chemical, the worldwide market leader in the field of plastics. With the help of this system the whole organisation around the exhibition ‘K2001 was successfully conducted.

Core modules of the systems were:

  • consequent, worldwide usage of the system as communication platform in the run-up of the fair
  • handling of all fair-related bookings (hotel rooms, restaurant tables, conference rooms, meetings, technical equipment, event tickets, transfers) during the fair

As the "K" takes place every third year we were again commissioned by Dow Chemical to enhance the system with several innovative features for the K2004.

For the complete communication of a worldwide operating enterprise in the run-up of a large exhibition X-CELL COMMUNICATIONS established an online platform which provides rights and role-based information and innovative functionalities for employees, customers and press.

Thus potential customers were able to inform themselves about the fair itself, events, products and contact persons of our client at any time. Existing customers additionally had the possibility to register for the exhibition, to directly conduct online bookings as well as to make appointments.
Employees have access to the most actual project and booking information and are able to add bookings or update schedules at any time (for instance hotel and conference rooms, restaurant tables, event tickets etc.)

The further development of the portal with considerably extended functionalities for later events and exhibitions emphasizes the cost and time reduction that has been accomplished through the consequent use of the system.

By order of our client Dow Chemical we developed an e-Kiosk system for the exhibition 'Wire & Cable 2002'.

The application allows for the multimedia-based presentation of all products and solutions in a highly networked environment. X-CELL was further responsible for planning, procurement, installation and support of the entire IT/AV equipment.

X-CELL took care of Dow Chemical's exhibition presence as well as the entire planning process of the IT/AV infrastructure for the 'Wire & Cable 2004'.

In addition to the implementation and installation of an e-Kiosk system for the booth X-CELL was responsible for the technical support and coordination of all exhibition-related conferences, presentations and events.

By order of our client Dow Chemical we developed an e-Kiosk system for the exhibition „Wire & Cable 2004“.

The application allows for the multimedia-based presentation of all products and solutions in a highly networked environment. Besides conception, development and design of the information system X-CELL further was in charge of the on-site installation and technical support for the entire duration of the exhibition.
