Düsseldorf, 20 October 2025
The Düsseldorf-based corporate learning provider X-CELL AG was once again able to significantly increase its revenue and profit in the first three quarters of 2025 despite a persistently difficult market environment. According to preliminary figures, sales increased by 10% and profits by almost 40% compared to the previous year. In terms of turnover, the EUR 5 million mark is expected to be exceeded for the first time in the company's history. The drivers for this excellent financial development are the current version 5.0 of the learning content management system AcademyMaker® and the all-in-one education management system AcademyManager®, which have been very successfully launched on the market.
In addition, several new e-learning programmes were launched on the market with great success. First and foremost is the highly successful AI training course entitled "Seizing opportunities, minimising risks", which took first place in the internal rankings in the first month after its release.
The environmental protection series with the two training courses Energy Management and Environmental Management has also met with great interest from customers. Franziska Martinko, the board member responsible for product development, comments: "We have achieved some real breakthroughs this year, both in the software area with our version 5.0 and with the ready-made e-learning courses. In contact with our customers and potential customers, we are also aware that there is still a crisis out there, but we are also seeing some positive signals regarding the importance of e-learning and corporate training in general. There's simply no getting round it any more. We will be launching some very interesting products in the coming months with our e-learning programmes on working from home, unconscious bias, sexual harassment and whistleblower protection. We are therefore looking to the future with optimism and confidence."
