With the new e-learning course "Sexual harassment in the workplace", the Düsseldorf-based e-learning provider X-CELL is expanding its portfolio with a practical training course on the prevention and education of sexual harassment in a professional context. The training helps companies to fulfil their obligations under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), reduce risks and actively contribute to a working environment that is characterised by respect, trust and appreciation.
Despite clear legal requirements, sexual harassment remains a widespread problem. There is often a lack of awareness of transgressions and the consequences are serious - for those affected as well as for the team and the company. This training offers concrete support by explaining the causes and effects of sexual harassment and providing basic knowledge on how to recognise, address and prevent boundary violations.
Using realistic case studies and interactive exercises, participants learn how to act responsibly - whether as victims, witnesses or people whose behaviour may be perceived as transgressive. The training shows how those affected can be supported, what steps follow in the event of a complaint and what protective measures the company takes to ensure their well-being.
The e-learning is aimed at employees at all hierarchical levels in companies, public authorities and educational institutions. It can be used across all sectors, is flexibly customisable and can be easily integrated into existing learning platforms.
