Düsseldorf-based e-learning provider X-CELL is expanding its compliance portfolio with the new e-learning course "Whistleblowing". The practical training helps companies to fulfil the legal requirements of the EU Whistleblower Directive and raises awareness of the rights and obligations of all those involved.
The directive, which was adopted in 2019, sets uniform standards for the protection of whistleblowers across Europe. Companies are obliged to set up secure and confidential reporting channels and inform employees transparently about how they work. The e-learning clearly explains why whistleblowing is a central component of corporate organisation and how internal reporting systems help to identify risks at an early stage and prevent damage.
Using realistic scenarios and interactive elements, participants learn how to correctly categorise suspicions, choose the appropriate reporting channel and understand what happens after a report is made. The training also explains which protection mechanisms safeguard whistleblowers and how internal processes and escalation levels are organised. The e-learning not only promotes knowledge, but also trust in internal reporting centres - a decisive factor for effective compliance structures.
The training is aimed at employees at all hierarchical levels in companies, authorities and educational institutions. It is flexible, customisable and can be easily integrated into existing learning platforms.
