X-CELL launches a practical training course entitled ‘Successfully Applying Artificial Intelligence’

New e-learning courses equip staff to use AI productively in their day-to-day work and complement the training on the EU AI Act.

The Düsseldorf-based corporate learning provider X-CELL AG is expanding its portfolio to include the training course ‘Using Artificial Intelligence Successfully’. This practical e-learning course shows employees, step by step, how to select suitable AI tools, formulate effective prompts and successfully integrate AI into their daily work.

X-CELL already meets the requirements of the EU AI Act regarding staff training with its course ‘Artificial Intelligence: Seizing Opportunities, Minimising Risks’. The new practical training course now goes a step further and focuses on concrete application.

“Regulatory knowledge alone is not enough in the long run. AI is a real game-changer,” emphasises Marco Bertelwick, a member of the Executive Board at X-CELL AG. “It is now said that a person does not lose their job to AI, but to another person who uses AI. In the same way, companies whose staff do not use AI consistently and to the best of their ability will be pushed out of the market.”

Using real-world work scenarios, the e-learning course demonstrates how AI supports research, structuring, drafting, analysis and visualisation. This ranges from chat AI and integrated AI functions to AI-supported automation and agents. Participants learn how to create effective prompts, improve results in a targeted manner and integrate AI meaningfully into existing workflows. They also learn how to identify errors and protect sensitive data. The content is deliberately designed to be tool-independent and is illustrated using well-known applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot.

The e-learning module, which lasts around 30 minutes, concludes with a certificate and is aimed at staff at all levels of the organisation, regardless of their experience with AI. It is customisable and can be integrated into any SCORM-compatible learning management system or delivered via the X-CELL learning platform, AcademyMaker. Ideally, it should be combined with the training on the EU AI Act.
